Pete and the Golden Goats: Welcome the newest/oldest Allegheny GoatScape herd! This team includes some of our elder goats from other herds and their longtime miniature donkey protector, Pete. They work on projects that are a little less topographically challenging to accommodate for any physical ailments they may be dealing with. Pete and his pals also spend time helping our staff with presentations and educational events.

Diana is a brown Nubian doe. She is a very chatty gal and you will almost always find her with her best bud and lookalike, Excite. Diana is sponsored in 2024 by Carmen Bray.

Excite is a brown Nubian doe. Similar in stature and friendliness to Diana, Excite can be distinguished bya slightly larger frame. We are happy to have her eating skills! Excite is sponsored in 2024 by Jaime Jarvis “in honor of” the English ivy she is working on removing from her backyard.

Legs is a deep chestnut mixed Nubian wether. His name says it all, this guy has legs for days and is one AGS' tallest goats! Legs is sponsored in 2024 by Maureen Olinzock.

Aspen is a tan and white LaMancha Boer wether. Aspen’s parents are Cypress and Balthazar. Aspen takes after his fathers La Mancha traits. Aspen is sponsored in 2024 by Rob Zeglin in honor of Always Boardshop

Cypress is a stunning boer doe. She has the classic boer look with a deep brown and white coat and rotund features. She is the mom to Aspen and absolutely adores being brushed. Cypress is sponsored in 2024 by Gretel Kaltenbaugh.

(Princess) Layla is a white and light tan boer doe. Her white luscious beard gives her a kind and wise appearance. Layla is sponsored in 2024 by Julie Futeles, in honor of The Futules Family & Zelda.

Dot is a mostly black with some white Apline doe. Her and her buddy Dice are often found together. She is the trouble maker of the two and loves head scratches. Dot is sponsored in 2024 by Robin Eng in memory of Conrad Seaman.

Dice is a beautiful black and white Alpine doe. She is a sweet lady who has a great mix of mischief and gentleness. Dice is sponsored in 2024 by Peter and Jodi Humphrey.

Flash is a tan Alpine doe with white facial markings. She is often seen on her own, a common behavior that we see with our Alpines, though she does tend to appreciate the companionship of her fellow Alpines, Dice and Dot. She is also happy to greet volunteers by rubbing her head on them. Flash is sponsored in 2024 by tyna Kaltenbaugh.

Rusty is a brown Nubian wether and one of our largest goats, though he seems to not know it! A gentle giant who loves attention from humans and is starting to bond with his Nubian friends, Diana and Excite. Rusty is sponsored in 2024 by Colleen Straub in honor of Erin Gaughan.

Rudy is a brown Nubian wether, who looks quite similar to his best friend Rusty, though lacks the white facial markings. He is a friendly, enormous, unique looking Nubian warming up to new humans and herdmates. Rudy is sponsored in 2024 by Kerry Quinn in honor of his wife, Susan.

Love Song is a brown and black Nigerian Dwarf doe and our smallest goat! She is quite possibly the sweetest goat you will ever meet. You may see her missing from the Golden Goats as she is keeping a single goat friend company at the moment. Love Song is sponsored in 2024 by Gretel Kaltenbaugh.

Pete is a sweet, gentle, loving mini donkey who has extensive experience serving as a guard animal for goats, having done so for the years before coming to AGS. His gray and white coloration make him unique to the other three AGS mini donkeys. Pete is sponsored in 2024 by Leslie Woods.
